Role Overview – Cloud Operations Engineer

As a Cloud Operations Engineer at Zoho, you will be part of the Cloud and Infrastructure Operations team managing global data centers. The role requires maintaining system reliability, configuring servers, automating deployments, and ensuring smooth operations across cloud environments.

You will collaborate with DevOps, networking, and application teams to support large-scale SaaS infrastructure and ensure business continuity through disaster recovery validations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Linux-based cloud infrastructure and virtualization components
• Monitor servers and applications in 24×7 rotational shifts
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents
• Automate OS installations and server provisioning
• Administer infrastructure components like DNS, DHCP, NTP, Proxy, and Load Balancers
• Conduct disaster recovery (DR) testing across global data centers
• Use automation tools like Ansible or Puppet for configuration management
